I have been writing more about my glorious career in advertising - and specifically - about all the tiny differences we judge each other over.
The Tooheys New ad I made was hilarious, insightful thinking. I am an artist.
The Carlton Dry ad you made was embarrassing, derivative shit. You are a sellout.
This line of thinking got me spinning and the story got longer and longer and - as such - isn’t finished yet.
In the meantime I came across this guy Aimè Leon Dad. His thoughts on the way “Agency Guys” dress themselves were funny and compelling and feel exactly true.
I was tempted to caveat this with a note that where I work we’re a little bit different - but that would just be my narcissism of small difference talking.
talking.
